Meet Red, he is a 3-year-old Cattle Dog mix and weighs about 50 pounds.

After his beloved owner passed away, Red found himself in the loving care of a neighbor who rescues animalsand he's been thriving ever since.

Red is always ready for fun! Whether it's a play session with other dogs, a romp around the yard, or just exploring his surroundings, he approaches life with enthusiasm and curiosity.

Hes also a total lovebughell happily cuddle up next to you and soak in all the affection youre willing to give.

This playful pup is also crate and potty trained and will let you know with a little whine when he needs to go out.

Hes learning the ropes of indoor life like a champ and loves to greet people by standing up and leaning in close for loveits his signature move!

Red does well with other dogs and enjoys hopping around and goofing off with his canine friends. He knows basic commands like sit and lay down, and while hes still working on leash training (he didnt have much before coming into foster care), hes eager to learn and please.

He has never been in a home with kids, but he is always friendly to the neighbor kids when they played in the street or in his yard. Before his foster home, Red lived outdoors and wasnt reactive to passersbyhe has a calm nature in that way.

Hed love an active home where he can continue learning, playing, and being part of the family.

Red is located in Houston, TX, but can be transported to most states for an additional fee of $300.
