Caramello - Cattle Dog Dog for Adoption in Chinle, Arizona

Caramello is a sweet, 2-year-old (as of 9-2026) female cattle dog mix with a unique tan coat color that matches her eyes.

She has spent most of her life as a foster dog in rural NM, playing with other foster dogs, hiking, and hanging out in the house.

Caramello has recently been diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus, which is a sun-sensitivity autoimmune disease that showed up as loss of skin color on her face. She is taking niacinamide once a day and is doing very well.

While she loves exploring, she needs to stay out of direct sunlight; we walk her in the early mornings or evenings.

Caramello is good with cats and other dogs, and loves her rides in the car.

She has a good temperament and would be good with kids.

Caramello is smart and has learned to walk on a leash, sit, and come when called, and is ready to learn so much more!

She is fixed, vaccinated, and dewormed.
