Cammie - Pit Bull Terrier and German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Chinle, Arizona

Cammie had a rough start in life being the only member of her litter that was left behind when some good Samaritans took her litter mates to safety. Cammie was shy and afraid. She was finally trapped by the rescue and has been learning to be a house dog ever since.

Cammie loves her doggie foster brother and sister (maybe a little too much for her older foster brother). She would do well in a house with another playful friendly dog.

She is still shy with humans and sometimes has what her foster mom calls "Dory moments" when she seems to forget that the person she was cuddling with two minutes ago is the person now walking into the room. She will need time to adjust to human companions.

Cammie has tons of energy and is still mentally a puppy. She loves hiking and has great recall, but could use some work on proper manners with other leashed dogs.

Cammie taught herself to use the dog door, is playful but friendly with the dog -friendly cat in the house, and willingly sleeps in her crate.

She needs a home that will provide her with exercise and mental stimulation.
