Meet Carmie!
At just over 40 pounds and around 1 year old, Carmie is a sweet, petite package with a big personality.

Carmie is incredibly smart, observant, and highly trainable, with a loyal and loving nature toward her people. She's also a wonderful house guest-respectful of her environment, happy to greet everyone, and guaranteed to make you smile with her playful antics and affectionate "love bombing."

Carmie was diagnosed with a heart condition as a puppy, but it's now well-managed with medication.

Carmie has spent the past few months in foster care while her heart condition was being evaluated and managed, growing from a puppy into a confident adolescent. During that time, she's shown she can enjoy other dogs but may do best as the only dog or with a calm companion and slow introductions.
