Meet Peony



At 2 years old and 40 lbs, Peony is the kind of dog who makes it very easy to fall in love.

This beautiful Catahoula mix is fully vetted—spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative—and she's more than ready to find the family she can call her own.

Peony has such a wonderfully affectionate, gentle personality. She loves everyone she meets, including kids, and one of her favorite ways to show you just how much she likes you is by giving the sweetest little hugs.



She also absolutely adores other dogs. In fact, she can often be found cuddled up with her foster mom's dog, which is just about as precious as it sounds.

Peony is a pretty impressive girl, too! She:



Walks beautifully on a leash
Rides wonderfully in the car
Is crate trained
Knows basic commands
Takes treats very gently
Has a moderate energy level
Loves her chew toys and Kongs



She's the perfect mix of playful and affectionate - happy to enjoy some fun and activity, but equally happy to settle in near the people and dogs she loves.



Peony doesn't need much to be happy. Give her some toys, a cozy place to curl up, a few adventures, and people who will love her back as fiercely as she loves them, and she'll be one very happy girl.



She's already figured out how to be a wonderful companion. Now she's just waiting for someone to realize that she's the one they've been looking for.
