Meet Froyo!

Froyo is around a year and a half old, spayed, and full of potential. This beautiful Catahoula/Pit Bull mix is looking for a home with an experienced, confident handler who understands working breeds and terrier-type personalities. She is incredibly smart, very trainable, and eager to connect with her people.

Froyo is strong-willed but can also lack confidence, and that insecurity can sometimes come out as overreaction in situations she isn’t comfortable with. She will thrive with someone who can provide structure, clear boundaries, continued training, and plenty of appropriate outlets for her energy and intelligence.

She can be apprehensive with new people at first, but once she has a chance to get comfortable, her friendly and affectionate personality comes through. Froyo also absolutely LOVES the water and would make a great companion for an active person who wants a dog to get outside and have adventures with.

Froyo was returned to the rescue after having difficulty living with the other dogs in her previous home. Based on what we have learned about her, Froyo would be happiest as the only dog in her home. She deserves a home where she doesn’t have to navigate the stress of sharing her space with other dogs and can instead focus on building a strong relationship with her person.

She also has a strong prey drive, so she is not a match for cats or other small animals.
