**Meet Dakota! **

Dakota is an adorable Catahoula mix puppy with a cute little nub tail and a whole lot of personality! He was pulled from a high-kill shelter in Kansas and has done a wonderful job adjusting to his new surroundings in just a few short days.

Dakota is a happy, energetic boy who loves to have fun! He enjoys playing fetch and tug and would love an active family who can include him in walks, adventures, and plenty of playtime. He already walks nicely on a leash with minimal pulling.

He does well sleeping in his kennel, with just a little whining as he settles in. Like many young, energetic dogs, Dakota is still working on his manners. We are currently helping him learn that jumping up and mouthing aren't appropriate ways to say hello or get attention.

Dakota is very friendly, playful, and eager to be part of a family. With continued training, exercise, and plenty of love, we think this handsome boy will make a wonderful companion!
