Zander - Terrier and Coonhound Dog for Adoption in Rochester, Minnesota

Hi all! My name is Zander!!

I'm the SWEETEST boy and my favorite things are being around humans of all sizes, playing with my furry foster sister (she plays fetch and I CHASE her. It's the best), and FOOD!!!

I would be content to follow the family around all day long and accompany you on any adventures you may have!

I was found as a stray in Arkansas, but sadly the rescue didn't have many options for me, so I got bounced from place to place for a while. Finally I made it up here to my foster home in MN! However, I have some fears and anxiety due to all the transitions. I get scared when I'm alone, and I'm working hard on kennel training, but it's definitely a work in progress. My foster folks and I are playing games and my meals are in the kennel, so I'm starting to learn that it's a safe place for me to relax.

I'm young still, so I'm fairly energetic. I like my walks, and do pretty well on a leash (although I am intrigued by squirrels and rabbits). I like to wrestle and play with other dogs, and have an energetic play style.

I'd really love to be part of a family who will be patient with me as I learn that this is my FINAL and forever home. No more transitions for me please!
