Bowie is very sweet and gentle. While he is happy to play with other dogs, he is mostly a couch potato and would love nothing more than napping with his human.

Bowie gets along well with other dogs and has been in a foster home with two cats with no issues. He has even been known to lick the cats' ears. He has been around small children and did well, but as he can be a little timid, dog savvy kids would be best.

Bowie is both crate and house trained, making him an ideal housemate. He does need some more practice at walking on a leash.

Bowie is a goofball, and likes to roll on his back with his tongue out. He has one brown eye and one blue eye, which makes him even cuter. Could he be the snuggle buddy you've been waiting for?

The Carolina Dog, a primitive breed known for its wild ancestry, is a medium sized, agile, and intelligent dog originally found roaming freely in the Southeastern United States. With a distinctive appearance marked by erect ears, a bushy tail, and a sable coat, Carolina Dogs are highly adaptable, affectionate with their families, and wary of strangers, making them excellent watchdogs. Their natural hunting instincts and independence require consistent training and an active lifestyle to thrive in a loving home environment.
