Dumpling is the cutest little girl who loves to snuggle up to people. She had a rough start before coming into rescue, but you wouldn't know it by how much she loves people. She has a medium energy level and is always down for a wrestling game or chase with other dogs.

Dumpling is very vocal when playing with other dog friends and would probably do best with submissive dogs due to her enthusiastic play style. After playing, she loves to take a snooze on the couch. She is also good with cats and dog savvy kids.

Dumpling is both crate and house trained, as well as walking nicely on a leash. She's an excellent work from home buddy that will entertain herself with toys and come rest her head in your knee to check in occasionally, and then go take a nap. She's quiet in the house unless she's wrestling with a dog.

The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
