DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Say Hello to Garrett!
Some dogs come into your life and steal your heart instantly—and Garrett is one of them. This handsome adult Pembroke Welsh Corgi is the complete package: sweet, loyal, well-mannered, and ready to devote himself to a family of his own. Garrett spent his entire life with one owner who cherished him from puppyhood. Sadly, due to health issues, his owner can no longer care for him, and now this wonderful boy is searching for a new forever home.
Garrett is truly a gentleman in every sense of the word. He is housebroken, rides beautifully in the car, and has a calm, low-to-medium energy level that makes him an easy companion. Whether you're heading out for an adventure or enjoying a quiet evening at home, Garrett is happiest when he's right by your side. This affectionate boy adores people of all ages and especially loves children. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, too.
You'll notice Garrett is missing the tip of one ear—a souvenir from an encounter with a wire fence. But, if anything, it only adds to his unique charm and tells part of his story, making him even more lovable. Garrett has already proven what a devoted companion he can be. Now he just needs someone willing to open their heart and give him the second chance he deserves. Apply today — Garrett can't wait to meet you!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
