Yeti is a fun-loving guy with a big personality to match his big body. He absolutely **adores other dogs** and would love a canine companion to romp around with. He's also a world-class athlete in his own mind, frequently showing off his impressive parkour skills by bouncing over furniture, launching himself onto obstacles, and generally turning your home into his personal agility course.

One of Yeti's favorite hobbies is counter surfing, so if you leave snacks unattended, he'll happily consider them a gift. He's currently working on his manners and making great progress, but he'll need an adopter who is committed to continuing his training.

Yeti is looking for a quieter home with patient, dog-savvy people who understand that good dogs sometimes need a little extra guidance. He has a tendency to resource guard his favorite people and has been known to lunge at unfamiliar visitors in the home. Interestingly, he does very well out in public and has attended multiple adoption events where he's been friendly and social. Managing introductions and continuing positive reinforcement training will be important for his success.

Yeti was adopted in April but is being returned through no fault of his own because his new home wasn't the right fit. He also struggled with house-training in that environment and had accidents in the home. We believe one major factor was the lack of a secure yard, so a physically fenced yard is now required for his adoption. Having a safe space to exercise and stick to a consistent routine will help set him up for success.
