Cardigan Welsh Corgi and Chihuahua Dogs Available for Adoption in Shorewood, Illinois

Meet Sage a 10 week old female Corchi (Corgi Chihuahua mix) weighing about 8 lbs. She is expected to stay small and grow into a very devoted, people loving companion.
Sage has the sweetest personality. She can be just a tiny bit shy at first, but the moment you pick her up she completely melts into you and wants to stay there
She loves playing with her siblings and has a cute, bouncy play style, then happily settles in for snuggles. She is wonderful with kids and other dogs and sleeps quietly through the night in her pen.
Her little white front paws are impossible to miss and make her even more adorable.
Sage would do best in a loving home where she can continue to grow, learn, and settle into her routine while soaking up all the snuggles she can get. She is going to be a very devoted little companion.

Our adoption process is usually quick but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application on our website, PawsUp4Rescue.org/adopting as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption.

If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog.
