Meet Sofia, a beautiful six-month-old Canaan Dog mix with a playful spirit, an affectionate nature, and an infectious enthusiasm for life. With her striking black-and-white coat and cheerful personality, this sweet girl is ready to find a forever family of her own.

Sofia was found as a stray at just three months old, far too young to be facing life on the streets. Thankfully, she was rescued by Good World Animal Rescue and Protection (GWARP), giving her the chance to grow up surrounded by safety, kindness, and care. Despite her difficult beginning, Sofia has blossomed into a happy, confident, and loving young dog who seems determined to make the most of every moment.

Sofia absolutely loves people and is always happy to be the centre of attention. She's affectionate, cuddly, and full of playful energy, equally enthusiastic about a good game or spending quality time with her favourite humans. Her friendly personality extends to other dogs, too. She enjoys canine companionship and would be a wonderful addition to a home with another playful dog.

At six months old, Sofia is still discovering the world, and everything is an adventure. She's curious, energetic, and eager to explore, with all the delightful enthusiasm you'd expect from a young puppy. She would thrive with an active, loving family who can include her in their daily activities and provide the patience, guidance, and training she needs as she grows. Whether it's outdoor adventures, playing with her dog friends, or curling up for cuddles at the end of the day, Sofia is happiest when she's sharing life with those she loves.

Sofia is fully vaccinated and spayed, and she's ready to begin the next chapter of her life. What she needs now is a family who will give her the stability, affection, and sense of belonging that every dog deserves.

Sofia is one of the many animals given a second chance by Good World Animal Rescue and Protection (GWARP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing vulnerable animals in Azerbaijan. Countless dogs there face abandonment, neglect, abuse, and the daily struggle of surviving on the streets. GWARP works to rescue these animals, provide veterinary treatment and rehabilitation, and find them loving forever homes. Through international adoption, dogs like Sofia can leave their difficult beginnings behind and start new lives with families in Canada and the United States.

Sofia's adoption fee is $2,000 USD. This reflects the considerable expense of rescuing, providing veterinary care for, preparing, and transporting a dog from Azerbaijan to Canada. International rescue is an enormous undertaking, and adoption fees help GWARP continue giving vulnerable animals the chance at a life they might otherwise never have.

Sofia has already overcome so much in her short life, but she hasn't let her past diminish her loving, joyful spirit. She's ready to trade uncertainty for a lifetime of adventures, companionship, and unconditional love. If you're looking for an affectionate, playful young dog to grow alongside your family, Sofia might just be the perfect match.
