He showed more interest in investigation than play and recovered quickly from being startled. He understood basic commands like "sit," "down," and "paw," and often sought reassurance by trying to crawl into my lap. He was curious about meeting new people and frequently checked in with me. When meeting another dog, he approached with curiosity but remained reserved.
