Has this dog lived with cats? Unknown. [The Lycoming County SPCA does not "cat test" dogs per the Association of Shelter Veterinarian's Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters.]

Condensed Staff Assessment Notes: Chubbs is a curious dog who enjoyed exploring outdoors and walked well on a leash with minimal pulling. However, he currently struggles with dry, patchy skin that needs treatment. While he often turned to scratching, he could be easily redirected with attention.

Chubbs enjoyed being handled and stayed close when given the choice, continuing the interaction. He knows the cue "sit" and stayed calm around sudden noises. His interest in toys was short-lived; he briefly engaged before returning to scratching. While he greeted both strangers and dogs with open curiosity, he quickly lost interest in interacting with another dog after a short investigation.
