Meet ZANDER!

Zander is a very handsome 3-year-old Boxer mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. One of his favorite pastimes is rolling around in the grass, and he's always happy to spend time playing with his beloved stuffed toys. Zander has previously lived successfully with three other dogs in the past.

In the home, Zander is a wonderful companion who loves being involved in whatever his people are doing. Whether you're relaxing on the couch for a movie night, working around the house, or cooking dinner, he'll happily be by your side offering his loyal supervision. He's very food-motivated, loves treats, and is eager to learn, making him a joy to train. He already knows sit, paw, stay, and down! He also enjoys car rides and is a great passenger, making him an excellent companion for errands, road trips, and other adventures.

Zander loves his people deeply and forms strong bonds with those he trusts. Because of this, he does experience separation anxiety and will need adopters who are prepared to help him continue building confidence when left alone. With patience, understanding, and a management plan that works for him, Zander will thrive in a home that can provide the structure and confidence he needs.
