Wicket (AG26-94) - Boxer Dog for Adoption in Peyton, Colorado

Meet Wicket, a sweet 10-year-old, 56-pound Boxer who is looking for a soft place to land and a family who will give him the time and patience he deserves. Wicket can be a bit shy at first and may take some time to warm up to strangers, but once he feels comfortable, his easygoing personality begins to shine.

Wicket loves other dogs and gets along well with dogs his size and smaller. He would like nothing more than to have a gentle canine companion by his side. Another friendly dog is required in his new home to help provide him with safety, comfort, and reassurance as he adjusts to his new surroundings.

Wicket is able to walk on a leash, although he can feel a little nervous when heading out on new adventures. He will need a patient adopter who is willing to let him take things at his own pace while he continues building up his strength and learning that new experiences can be safe.

This gentle senior is ready for a quiet, loving home where he can relax, enjoy the company of his canine friend, and continue to grow stronger. Wicket is simply looking for someone willing to give him the time and kindness he needs to feel at home.
