WELCOME BUDDY TO NJ BOXER RESCUE!

Meet Buddy! This absolutely gorgeous 3-year-old brindle Boxer is looking for a new place to call home through no fault of his own. Sadly, his dad passed away suddenly, and Buddy has been staying with his grandparents. They love him, but they already have Buddy’s mom, dad, and another Boxer boy to care for, so they want to make sure Buddy finds a wonderful home where he will be safe, loved, and cared for the rest of his life.

Buddy is a bit of a diamond in the rough who just needs someone willing to help him polish up his manners! He could use some training and may need a little help with his housetraining, but he has a great start. He is crate trained and knows sit and down. With patience, consistency, and love, we believe Buddy can continue to learn and become an amazing companion!

What kind of home does Buddy need?

Buddy loves his mom, but he and his dad don't get along very well. Because of this, we believe he may do best with a female dog only.
Buddy hasn't been around children, and like many Boxers, he can get jumpy when excited. Since this handsome boy weighs around 80 pounds, we think a home with older children, ages 12 and up, would be the best fit.
Cats? That's still a mystery!

Buddy has been through a heartbreaking change in his life, and now he needs someone to give him a fresh start. Could you be the person who shows him that there is still so much love waiting for him?
