**MEET RUSTY!**

When Rusty first came into rescue, he was **shut down, terrified, and unsure of the world around him.** He came from a backyard breeder where he had very little human interaction, attention, or affection.

But look at him now!

Rusty is discovering what life is supposed to be—**freedom, yummy food, soft beds, gentle hands, and LOTS of LOVIN’!** He is learning that people can be kind, and he absolutely loves getting attention and pets.

At just over a year old, Rusty has his whole life ahead of him, and we want that life to be **spoiled, loved, and filled with everything he has been missing.**

Rusty will need a **patient and loving family** who understands that he may need some time to fully come out of his shell. Having another confident, friendly dog will be important to help him continue building his confidence. A **fenced-in yard** is also a must so he can keep enjoying his newfound freedom!

This sweet boy has already come so far. Now he just needs someone willing to show him how amazing life can be.
