Meet Artemis - A Sweet, Playful Boy Ready for His Next Chapter!

Looking for a lovable companion who's equal parts playtime, cuddles, and goofy charm? Meet Artemis!

Artemis is a handsome young black Boxer/Pit Bull mix with a sweet personality and plenty of love to give. He originally found a home through Melissa's Second Chances and spent the past seven months with his family. Unfortunately, life circumstances changed, and Artemis has returned to us through no fault of his own. Now he's ready for another chance at forever!

Artemis has always been a wonderful combination of playful and affectionate. He enjoys having fun with his canine friends, spending time with his people, and settling in for some well-earned relaxation when playtime is over.

**A Friend to Dogs and People!**

Artemis has a great history with other dogs! His previous foster described him as respectful of adult dogs, responsive to their corrections, and happy to play with canine companions. His most recent family also reports that he does very well with other dogs.

He's also reportedly great with children, making him a promising companion for a family looking for a friendly, social young dog.

While Artemis previously showed little interest in a cat during his puppyhood, his current compatibility with cats hasn't been established. Any introductions to feline family members should be gradual and supervised.

**Good Habits, Great Potential!**

Artemis is crate trained and reportedly does well when left alone. During his earlier foster stay, he slept quietly through the night, kept his crate clean, and was making excellent progress with housetraining.

He's also treat motivated and was already learning good manners as a puppy, giving his future family a great foundation to build upon!

As a young dog, Artemis will benefit from continued guidance, enrichment, playtime, and opportunities to enjoy life with his people.

**A Second Chance at Forever**

One of Artemis's most endearing puppy quirks was the tiny little grumble he'd make while settling down for a nap, followed by some adorable snores!

He's a sweet, social boy with a loving heart, a playful spirit, and so much companionship to offer.

Artemis has already experienced what it means to be part of a family. Now he's hoping to find someone who will give him the stability, affection, and forever home he deserves.
