9/27/26-Lucy Belle didn’t let the rain stop her today for our walk. She walks well on leash. A little scared of the heavy wind but was easy to distract and refocus.

9/24/26-Lucy Belle is still doing great & loves pillows! She likes to lay on all the pillows in the house. Silly girl! She is a big love and is settling well. Great dog!

9/21/26-Lucy Belle is doing great! She is house broken, does not bark, not destructive, crates well and is a couch potato! She gets along with her doggie foster sister Rosie and enjoys going for walks with either a martingale collar or a harness. She is a real snuggler and is a joy to have around! Oh and she is a snorer- she is so cute when she snores!!! My favorite part of a boxer.

9/20/26-Lucy Belle had a good night last night & slept well. She knows the phrase “do you want to go for a walk?!” She started jumping and spinning when I asked her! She wore a harness well and walked on leash with her foster sister, Rosie. She does not bark at other dogs on the walk and was interested in the squirrels, but didn’t want to chase them. She knows about furniture and invited herself on the couch and bed. She hasn’t played with toys yet and she is a picky eater right now. She is settling in and loves to cuddle.

9/19/26-Lucy Belle is settling in. She is a very cute dog and is slowly investigating the new apartment. I gave her this name while in foster care as I wanted something fun and upbeat. She is a doll!!! She was so sweet on transport today per her transport volunteers. She just climbed on the couch and is sleeping on my legs. Awww She is so sweet and had a long day. I think she is feeling safe now. I love the snoring! I so missed having a boxer in the house. She is a really good dog & settling in well. She made herself at home and is already sleeping on the couch.

09/18/26-Lucy Belle is a sweet almost 5 year old female boxer that came in today from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need her anymore. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport volunteers. She will be spayed Wednesday 10/7 & ready for her new home after that.
