This adorable (possibly boxer mix) girl is super sweet and friendly. Who's the lucky one to give her a forever spot in their home?! More than 40 incredible dogs arrived in Bend on 10/22/26 from Los Angeles County, and we couldn't be happier to welcome every single one of them to the Street Dog Hero family!

These amazing pups are now safe in our care and getting the fresh start they deserve. They're being vetted, processed, and placed into temporary foster homes and loving adoptive homes as quickly as we can find the right matches. And the exciting news? Many are already finding their forever families!

This lifesaving journey was made possible through an incredible partnership with Los Angeles County, our dedicated LA rescue partners working alongside the Skid Row community, and the animal control teams at the Lancaster and Palmdale shelters. It takes a village to save lives, and we're so grateful to everyone who helped make this possible! Many were at risk of euthanasia in the coming days only to make room for so many more coming in, but all sadly had very uncertain futures. We'll continue updating each dog's profile with new photos, personality details, and everything we're learning as they settle in.
