DESCRIPTION

Meet Daisy Sue

Daisy Sue is a 8-month-old black and white boxer mix who is already stealing hearts everywhere she goes. Currently weighing about 22 lbs, this little lady is all puppy-soft ears, bright eyes, and a tail that never stops wagging. She's up to date on her vaccines, dog friendly, and absolutely thrives on attention. If you're looking for a pup who loves being loved, Daisy Sue is your girl!

True to her age, Daisy Sue is curious, playful, and learning about the world one paw at a time. She enjoys romping & bossing around other dogs, soaking up affection from her people, and then crashing hard for a well-deserved nap. She has the sweetest personality and clearly wants to be involved in whatever you're doing-especially if it includes cuddles or praise.

Daisy Sue would do best in a home ready to embrace all things puppy: training, guidance, consistency, and patience. She's at the perfect age for someone to help shape her confidence, manners, and personality into that of an incredible lifelong companion. In return, she promises loyalty, laughter, and endless love.

She's searching for a home where she'll be spoiled, cherished, and treated like the family member she's meant to be. If you're ready for puppy kisses, silly antics, and a best friend in the making, Daisy Sue is ready to meet you.

PLEASE READ BELOW:

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, the first step is to complete an application and read all of our FAQs:

https://www.takepawsrescue.org/adopt

Please note: Information to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application.
*An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application*
All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
For more on this, or for additional information, including the adoption process and our adoption fee scale for all our adoptable pets (including an explanation about Benefactor Dogs), please see our FAQs page:

Any breed labels used by Take Paws Rescue, its employees/volunteers, or on vet records provided cannot be guaranteed. Breed labels are given based on information obtained during intake and/or best guesses based on appearance and/or temperament of the dogs and Take Paws Rescue gives no assurance to the accuracy of these labels. Labels are necessary for postings to many animal networking sites, such as our website, Chewy, Pet Finder, and others. These are in no way a guarantee. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed.

***Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it's the perfect match!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
