Boxer and Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption in Andover, Massachusetts

This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Maddie Mojito, a 10-week-old Boxer/ Shepherd mix, weighing 12 pounds (as of 4/13/26). The MOJITO litter were surrendered by their owners in Tennessee. Just like the drink, they're looking forward to bringing some cool, minty freshness to your life! Grab a glass and enjoy!

If you're looking for a lovable little pup with a kind heart and a playful streak, Maddie is the girl for you! She enjoys spending time with her people and is always ready for a little attention or a fun moment. In fact, she's trying to be an influencer on social media, so she hopes you have a ring light handy for on-the-go shoots! Maddie is still very much a puppy, which means she’s learning and exploring-sometimes with her mouth! She’ll need a home that understands puppy behavior and is ready to help her grow into a well-mannered, confident dog that'll rack up millions of followers.

The Mojito litter are personable, love playing with each other and will easily make every day a fun adventure! They might not have experience with cats yet, but they hope to have an introduction. They'd be great with the kiddos and even offer them mocktails because they're responsible. How nice! These pups still have some ways to go when it comes to puppy training: commands, potty, leashing and crates (though they've done crates for travel). The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
