Hello my name is Tari (pronounced Terri) and I am 2 years old. I weigh 22 pounds. I need a new home because I was released from a puppy mill.

Here's my story so far. I'm adjusting to life outside the mill. Right now, I'm pretty shy, but my foster mom thinks I have potential to be a good friend. I'm learning the ropes from my foster sister, so it would be helpful to have another dog in the house. As a shy girl, I need patience from my new family. It will take me some time to get used to people and other new experiences.

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
