Coral may be little, weighing in at just 15 pounds, but this 3-year-old terrier mix has a BIG personality and an even bigger story!

When Fido's rescued Coral from the city kennel, she was unable to walk. The amazing kennel staff had purchased her a doggy wheelchair, which she took to immediately! At the time, the veterinarian believed Coral would likely never walk again.

Well, Coral clearly didn't get that memo.

This resilient little girl had other plans! While she may walk a little funny, Coral is now able to enjoy short walks, navigate stairs, and even go to the bathroom independently! For longer adventures, she still happily hops into her wheelchair and takes off!

But don't let her inspiring story fool you. Coral isn't all sugar and sweetness. She's got a little spice, too!

Coral has a bit of a queen complex, and she's not afraid to let you know when things aren't going her way! She absolutely adores her people and would prefer to be the center of their universe. Sharing the spotlight isn't exactly her favorite activity.

She's fine with cats and can coexist with other dogs, although she does have a jealous streak when it comes to attention. Coral would do best in an adult-only home or one with older children who can respect her boundaries.

And if you're looking for a dog who won't miss you when you're gone? Keep looking. Coral loves being with her people and isn't shy about voicing her displeasure when she's left alone.

Coral isn't looking for pity. She's looking for someone who appreciates a little dog with a whole lot of determination, personality, and attitude.

She may need a few accommodations, but she's already proven that a disability doesn't have to define her life.
