Hi, my name is Lassie! I’m a sweet 10-year-old Border Collie mix with a calm soul and a heart full of love.

I was found wandering the streets of San Antonio, and just when I needed someone most, my prayers were answered. My foster mom opened her heart and her home to me, and that’s where I learned something I had been missing for a long time — what it feels like to be loved.

I’m a wonderful girl who is great on a leash, quiet, and well-mannered. I love car rides and, now that I know how wonderful affection can be, I absolutely adore being petted.

I get along with other dogs, but if I could choose, I’d much rather be by my person’s side. I’m happiest when I’m close to my human, soaking up the love and companionship I’ve waited so long for.

I’m fully vetted and ready for my forever home. I may be 10 years young, but I have so much love left to give. All I’m asking for is a family who will see the special girl I am and let me spend my golden years knowing I am finally home.
