CHICO IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!

From skinny and surviving on the streets to discovering that blankets, cuddles, and having his own person are actually the BEST things ever.

Chico is a tiny Chihuahua, estimated to be about 1–2 years old, who came to us very underweight and in desperate need of some TLC. Now that he’s safe, his personality is starting to shine—and this little dude is a CUDDLE BUG.

His favorite place to sleep? Under your blankets.
His favorite thing to do? Be as close to his person as physically possible.

And Chico has a... unique way of showing you how much he missed you. When you come back, he may grab onto your arm or leg for a hug and give it a few enthusiastic humps before settling down. Apparently he needs to make his mark and THEN we can move on with our day.

Chico was recently neutered, so we’re hopeful that as his hormones settle, that behavior will decrease too.

He’s still working on gaining weight and learning what it feels like to be a spoiled little house dog. What he really needs now is someone willing to give him the love, patience, consistency, and TLC he missed out on while surviving outside.
