Hi there! My name is Rowdy Roo, and I'm a one-year-old Border Collie mix searching for the forever family I've always deserved.

I'm a sweet, gentle boy who loves people, does great with children, and absolutely thrives around other dogs. In fact, I'd really love a home with another confident canine friend to help show me the ropes. Having a buddy by my side helps me build confidence, and once I feel safe, you'll get to watch my true personality blossom.

Cats are still a little confusing to me, so I tend to bark at them because they make me nervous. My foster family says I'm otherwise a wonderful houseguest. I'm fully housebroken, crate trained, and genuinely enjoy spending time in my crate because it's my safe place.

I didn't have the best start in life, so I can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new things. All I need is a little patience, kindness, and love, and I'll reward you with unwavering loyalty. I'm also working on my basic commands, and because I'm extremely food motivated, I'm eager to learn and make my people proud!

One of my favorite things is making everyone smile with my adorable little grin. Whenever I get excited, I flash my "teefers," and my foster mom says it's the cutest smile she's ever seen!
