Decaf is one of Roxie's six little miracles, and this boy is ready to bring a LOT of energy, fun, and puppy love into someone's life!
Decaf and his siblings came to Mac's Mission alongside their mama, Roxie, who was heartbreakingly emaciated after giving everything she had to care for her babies. Sadly, two of their siblings didn't make it. But Decaf and his five surviving siblings fought their way through, and today they are growing into happy, healthy puppies who are ready for their next chapter.
Decaf is a playful, energetic boy who absolutely loves to have fun! Give him a dog, a person, some room to run, and he's ready to PLAY! He has tons of energy and would do best with an adopter who understands that a young Border Collie mix comes with plenty of zoomies and will need regular exercise, playtime, training, and mental stimulation.
He's also housebroken and will let you know when he needs to go outside, which is a pretty fantastic puppy skill!
His handlers believe Decaf will be great with children. He loves interacting with both dogs and people and is always looking for someone willing to join him in his next adventure.
Of course, Decaf is still a puppy, so he's still working on his manners. He likes to nibble on things-and sometimes on people during play. This is typical puppy behavior, but his forever family will need to continue working on appropriate play, redirecting his mouth to toys, and teaching him that fingers and toes aren't chew toys.
Decaf is currently preparing for his big graduation from the Puppies for Parole program on October 2, 2026. He will be ready to go home after graduation!
