Meet the beautiful Ms. Demi. She is a 2-year-old, medium-sized mixed breed (up to 44 lbs fully grown) who has been in our care since 7/6/2026 and is currently in a loving foster home. She is calm, highly social with people, and loves toys, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a playful yet relaxed friend. Demi is food motivated and knows basic commands, which makes her eager to learn and easy to train. She is also potty trained and does well during baths. She is not very vocal, perfect for apartment living! Demi is a huge cuddlebug and often prefers to share a bed with her people! While Demi loves to go out on walks, longer walks are not her favorite. She's here for a stroll, not a marathon! While Demi is indifferent to other dogs and prefers to be the only dog in the home, she remains polite around them. She is currently on heartworm treatment, so a calm environment would be ideal as she continues her recovery. Demi would thrive with a patient adopter who can help her build confidence and provide the attention she deserves. After a longer stay in the shelter system, Demi is ready for her forever home where she can blossom and share her affectionate nature.
