DESCRIPTION
Meet Heidi
Heidi is a beautiful white Border Collie mix with a heart as sweet as her smile. She came to us after her elderly owner could no longer care for her appropriately. Heidi had a loving home, so this change has been a little confusing for her. She doesn't quite understand why she's suddenly living at the shelter—but she hasn't let that take away her happy spirit.
Heidi is potty trained, has basic manners, and is an absolute lover. She is the kind of girl who just wants to be near her people, soak up some affection, and feel like she belongs again.
Despite everything changing around her, Heidi continues to greet the world with a sweet and happy personality. Now she just needs someone to give her the one thing she is missing: a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and wanted again.
Heidi didn't do anything wrong. Sometimes life changes in ways our dogs don't understand.
She's ready for a new chapter—and she would really love for you to be part of it.
Come meet Heidi at CCAC. She may just be the gentle, loving girl you've been looking for.
ABOUT: BORDER COLLIE DOG BREED
The Border Collie is a highly intelligent and energetic dog breed known for their herding capabilities and exceptional obedience. Originating from the border regions of Scotland and England, these agile and versatile dogs are famous for their focus, stamina, and trainability. With their striking black and white coat and intense gaze, Border Collies excel in various canine sports and activities, making them ideal companions for active families and individuals seeking a loyal and dynamic pet.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
