Rhea’s story didn't start out easy. Rescued from a severe hoarding situation where she is lucky to be alive, she has every reason to be cautious. Instead, this sweet, compact 25-pound Corgi/Aussie mix has shown unbelievable resilience, trusting humans completely and embracing every bit of love offered to her. Rhea was rescued from the hoarding case in July of 2026 and is believed to be around 3 years old. She spent her entire life up until her rescue in those horrible conditions, then in a shelter environment, and you would have never known it based on how well she's adjusted to the foster home life!

Rhea is the ultimate lovebug who perfectly combines fun energy with deep affection. A true high-energy girl, she loves to play and stay active, but her absolute favorite place to be at the end of the day is cuddled up right next to you on the couch. Whether you're relaxing after a walk or lounging on the weekend, she will happily collapse into your lap or let you hold her like a baby. Having lived around many animals, she is wonderfully dog-friendly and gets along great with other canine companions. A friendly resident dog could even help her feel extra safe and confident as she settles in.

Rhea is spayed, up to date on all of her core vaccinations and monthly prevention, microchipped, heartworm negative, and completely ready for her fresh start.
