Meet Valentina who is being fostered in the Ottawa, ON area

Valentina is a small–medium 18 month old pup with a playful, puppy-like spirit and an independent streak. She loves her toys (especially her treat ball), enjoys watching squirrels and birds, and lives for belly rubs.

She walks well on leash and would love a home that can keep up with her daily walks and adventures. She would flourish with a fenced-in yard but can also do great in a condo or apartment. At home, she’s happy to relax with a toy or bone and can be a little reserved at first—but once she bonds, she’s incredibly loyal and affectionate (on her terms!).

Valentina gets along with other dogs with and could do well solo or with a playful companion. She is house-trained and crate-trained, working on basic commands, and may occasionally steal a sock or two for fun. No cats for this girl as she does have some prey drive. Children 6+

Ideal home: Someone patient who can provide daily exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation. A fenced in yard where she can run would be great but an apartment or condo is fine for her.
