Bluetick Coonhound and Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Frankfort, Kentucky

Oscar is a male 24 pound Bluetick Coonhound/Beagle mix. He is a handsome fella that is also a total sweetheart. He has more confidence around another dog, so would like a canine friend. He rides fine in the car. He is not recommended for apartments or duplexes because if you know coonhounds and beagles, they can be vocal.

Our adoption fee helps offset the cost of preparing our guests to enter a forever home! While expenses for each animal varies, the average healthy dog or cat receives $500 in medical treatment between intake and adoption. Variables in the cost are conditional based on guest needs with some topping out at thousands of dollars.
