Meet Flint — the cutest senior bloodhound you’ll ever lay eyes on, complete with those classic soulful eyes and a voice he isn’t afraid to use! True to his hound nature, Flint loves to bay whenever the mood strikes, adding plenty of personality and charm to his day. Flint is an explorer at heart. He enjoys going on walks, taking in all the sights and smells, and would make a wonderful hiking companion once he’s cleared for full activity again. Right now, he’s on some exercise restrictions due to a possible torn ligament, and he’s waiting for more information—so for the moment, he’s taking things a bit slower. When it comes to people, Flint may be a little shy at first, but give him a little time and patience, and he’ll show you his true colors. Once he warms up, he becomes one of the sweetest, gentlest boys you could ever meet. He truly loves his people and enjoys being close once he feels comfortable. Flint does great with other dogs and doesn’t mind having a buddy around. He’ll even engage in some light play now and then, especially if there’s a good chew bone involved—he’s quite fond of his hard bones! And of course, being a senior, Flint has mastered the art of relaxation. He loves curling up in a cozy corner for his daily naps, recharging for his next little adventure. Flint is looking for a patient, loving home that will give him the time he needs to settle in and the care he needs while he recovers. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, gentle companionship, and plenty of classic hound charm.
