If you've ever wondered what happens when you combine oversized ears, giant puppy paws, endless charm, and a heart full of love, we'd like to introduce you to Pickles.

While we can't say with complete certainty that Pickles is a purebred Bloodhound, we can say that he certainly looks the part. From his long ears and wrinkly face to his unmistakable hound-dog expression, Pickles is about as Bloodhound as they come.

At just 14 weeks old, Pickles already weighs an impressive 37 pounds and is well on his way to becoming a very large dog. Prospective adopters should be prepared for a future that likely includes sharing their couch, their personal space, and quite possibly their entire living room with this handsome boy.

Pickles is a lovable goofball through and through. His ears seem to have a personality all their own and frequently find their way into his water bowl, under his paws, or occasionally causing him to trip over himself. Fortunately, he takes these minor inconveniences in stride and continues living life with enthusiasm and joy.

Beyond his entertaining antics, Pickles is an incredibly sweet and intelligent puppy. He is currently learning all the important basics in his foster home and is making excellent progress with potty training, leash training, and general obedience. He enjoys learning and has proven to be a quick study.

Pickles has been well socialized and does well with other dogs, cats, and children. He enjoys being around people and thrives on companionship and positive interactions.

His future family should be aware that Pickles can occasionally display resource guarding behaviors. Because of this, he will need continued positive reinforcement training and consistency as he grows. Thankfully, he is a smart puppy who is already responding well to training and guidance.

Pickles is looking for a family who appreciates big dogs, goofy personalities, and a puppy who will undoubtedly keep life entertaining. In return, he'll offer loyalty, laughter, companionship, and a lifetime of love.

Pickles is being fostered in a loving home while he prepares for adoption. He is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and will be adopted with a neuter contract.
