With ears that could catch the wind and a personality that fills the room, Mabel is pure magic. This 3‐month‐old Bloodhound mix weighs just 20 pounds for now, but she’s got plenty of growing to do—especially into those paws and floppy ears!

Mabel is spunky, silly, and completely outgoing. She loves making friends—whether they’re kids, dogs, or even cats—and she’s always ready for fun and adventure. She’s proud of her “sit” skills and will happily show them off again and again, especially if treats are involved. With her expressive eyes and playful spirit, she’s the kind of pup who turns heads and melts hearts everywhere she goes.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
