Mabel is a sweet, playful, 2-year-old pup who still has plenty of “puppy” spirit left in her! Whether you call her Mabe, Mabeline, or just plain Mabel, she happily responds to them all — especially if there’s love and attention involved.
Mabe is a people-loving girl who truly thrives on companionship. She wants nothing more than to be near her humans, soak up affection, and make you happy. She has already shown how well she can adapt to a routine—within just a week in her foster home, she learned mealtimes, wake-up time, and her absolute favorite part of the day: walks!
She enjoys being outdoors, exploring, and playing, but she’s just as happy coming inside afterward to relax and snuggle up next to you. Mabel especially loves curling up close (or even hopping into bed for extra snuggles if invited!).
Like many young dogs, Mabe is still working on a few manners. She’s learning not to pull on the leash—especially when exciting things like bunnies or birds appear—but she’s improving every day. She’s also making progress with house training and does well being crated as she continues to learn. The great news? She sleeps soundly through the night!
Mabel would do best in a home that can continue providing structure, patience, and lots of love. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate companion who truly just wants to be part of your life.

As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting as placing each foster dog in the best home takes time and effort by our volunteers.
