Casper is a 4–5-year-old Dogo Argentino weighing about 60 lbs, with a gentle heart and a playful spirit. Deaf but incredibly observant, Casper is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will give him the time he needs to feel safe and settled in a new home.Casper is still learning what it means to live in a home environment, and some everyday things — like the television or a spinning ceiling fan — can startle him. Because of this, he can be timid at times indoors, though he becomes much more confident once he’s outside exploring the world around him.This sweet boy loves to play with toys, enjoys stretching out for naps in his favorite chair, and thrives on kindness and routine. Casper is currently learning hand signals and would do best with someone committed to continuing his training and helping him build confidence through positive reinforcement and patience.What Casper needs most is a special person willing to earn his trust and show him that the world can be a safe, loving place. In return, you’ll gain a loyal companion with a kind soul who simply wants to feel understood and loved.

As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region.
