ADOPT COLT!

Colt was literally born at the shelter and spent his entire life there up until now. After 7 1/2 months of growing up in a kennel, he's finally getting to experience what its like to live in a home, and he's adjusting so well!

Colt is a 30 pound male, likely Black Mouth Cur mix. He is crate trained, and we have made great progress on housebreaking him, even in just a weeks time!

He was fine on the short car ride we had. He's still learning on leash and would do well with a fenced-in yard and another dog to take cues from. He could also be an only dog, but would need a little more instruction when it comes to leash training and housebreaking.

Colt is medium energy and loves to play, but settles nicely when he's receiving pets. He would just need a patient person or family as he continues adjusting to life in a home.

Curious but good with cats, with typical puppy play energy. He hasn't been kid tested yet, but would likely do well with dog-savvy kids. He's playful, so having a young playmate to help get some of that energy out could be fun for him!
