Meet Mallard!
Mallard is an adorable 4.5-month-old Doberman mix weighing about 31 pounds, and this little cutie is ready to find her forever family!
Mallard was rescued from euthanasia at the Hesperia Animal Shelter in California, and we are so grateful this sweet girl got the second chance she deserved. Now she gets to focus on being a puppy and finding a family of her very own.
Mallard is a confident, curious puppy who loves checking out her surroundings and seeing what the world has to offer. She approaches new experiences with interest and enthusiasm-and when the mood strikes, get ready for the zoomies! This playful girl knows how to have fun and will happily show off her puppy energy.
She's friendly with other dogs and would do well in a household with kids ages 5 and older. Mallard hasn't yet been introduced to cats, but if her future home includes feline siblings, we can cat test her to help determine whether she may be a good fit.
At just 4.5 months old, Mallard is still very much a puppy with lots of learning and growing ahead of her. She'll do best with a family excited to continue her training, provide structure and consistency, and give her plenty of opportunities for exercise, socialization, enrichment, and play. She's at a wonderful age to build a strong bond with her people and learn all the skills she'll need to become an amazing adult dog.
Mallard has confidence, curiosity, personality, and plenty of puppy silliness packed into one very cute package!
Her adoption fee is $495 and includes her microchip and some of her vaccinations. As a young puppy, she will still have vaccinations that need to be completed after adoption.
If you're looking for a playful, curious, confident young companion to learn, grow, and adventure with, Mallard may be your girl!
