So, here we have Callaway, a 1-year-old Black Labrador Retriever mix. The overlookers and scroll-passeders already aren't reading anymore, but that means you get to learn all about the girl that they're missing out on!

She weighs about 45 pounds, so she's smaller than she looks in a lot of her pics. Her personality is a lot like many people we know: she's looking for fun times and stuff to do! Once she celebrates the good times, she wants some downtime to recharge for next time. Know what we mean?

Callaway is friendly with people and good with kids. Any household would be lucky to have someone who loves every single person the same. Because she's a 1-year-old girl instead of a puppy, we fully know her personality. She is very smart and picks up on things quickly, so she'll get your routines down and start anticipating what comes next. She already has basic training for things like sit, come, kennel and inside, plus leash walking (that training is another advantage to being young enough but not a tiny baby). She enjoys a daily walk and some play time in the yard, and she likes her toys.

When she's done with activities, she wants to lounge with her people. As often as not, she falls asleep laying on them. She also LOVES her stuffie toys and treats them like they are her babies, instead of tearing them up.

Callaway gets along with other dogs, after a slow introduction. We don't know how she is with cats, because she hasn't met one yet. She is house- and crate-trained and, just so you know, she can jump a fence that's shorter than 6 feet.
