Meet Foster — a handsome young Lab/Shepherd mix with a sweet heart and an easygoing personality. This 65-pound boy was found abandoned near some apartments in December, but despite that rough start, Foster has remained loving, friendly, and ready to trust people again.

Foster is about 1 year old and has done well with other dogs, older children, men, and women. He’s housebroken, rides well in the car, and enjoys spending time with his people. Foster can be a little nervous around very young children, so a home with kids around 4 years old or older would be best for him.

He’s the kind of dog who can relax in the yard one minute and happily join you for an adventure the next. Foster has a gentle, soulful look that matches his calm, affectionate nature.

Quick Facts About Foster:
• 1 year, 4 months old
• Black Lab/Shepherd mix
• Approximately 65 lbs
• Neutered
• Housebroken

Foster is ready to leave his past behind and find a family that will love him forever.
