Meet Emily!
At just 4 months old and 21 lbs, Emily has already survived something no puppy should ever have to endure. She arrived with a badly embedded collar, a painful reminder that she had been neglected for far too long.

And somehow?
She’s still one of the sweetest, happiest puppies you could ever meet.

Emily is a lovable little scruffy black pup with a constantly wagging tail and the kind of joyful personality that makes people instantly smile. She’s friendly, wiggly, affectionate, and so ready to leave her past behind her.

She doesn’t want pity.
She wants belly rubs. Snacks. A couch. Someone to follow around the house. A family who will never hurt her again.

Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide. We are located in SC but in three years, we have placed 550 dogs in 28 states. We post our dogs in the areas we regularly transport to. Our adoption fee is $250 with no additional transport charges. Unfortunately we are unable to do meet and greets but our adoption coordinators strive to make excellent matches. They require regular grooming to maintain their wiry coat and love to be included in activities with their human companions. With proper training and socialization, schnauzers can thrive in various roles, from loving companion to skilled working dog.
