Roman is proof that it's never too late to discover what it means to be loved.

After spending his entire life in a shelter, this sweet boy is finally experiencing the comfort of a real home-and he's soaking up every second of it. Despite everything he's been through, Roman has the gentlest soul. He's quiet, incredibly affectionate, and happiest when he's near his people.

He's crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and is doing an amazing job with potty training. Since he's only ever known shelter life, he's had a few accidents while learning what life in a home is all about, but he's making great progress every day.

Roman is wonderful with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. He's also bravely learning that everyday things like TVs, passing cars, and all the normal sounds of home aren't so scary after all. Watching his confidence grow has been such a joy.

ADOPTION PROCESS
1. Review our adoption contract and application.

2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling.

3. Complete adoption application and submit following appropriate link below:

It takes us about 1-3 days to process applications. Once approved, we ask that all members of the household (including dogs) be available for meeting the animal within 3 days. If the meeting goes well, you will submit payment electronically and be able to take your new family member home with you immediately! If for whatever reason you do not take the animal home after the first meeting, please understand that we will continue to process applications for the animal and availability is not guaranteed.
