Truman - Bichon Frise and Poodle Dog for Adoption in Medfield, Massachusetts

Truman was found wandering in Millis and never claimed. He is a very sweet, gentle dog who doesn't seem to be overly active. Our vet is estimating that he is around 1-year-old. We are guessing that he is a Bichon or Poodle mix due to the long, curly coat. Truman will need regular grooming throughout his life to prevent matting. Since we do not have any history on him, we will not place him in a home with kids under 12. He seems to be friendly with the other dog we have here at the Shelter so may enjoy a canine companion. Truman was neutered and received updated vet care 6/25 so all he needs now is a new home.

If a dog is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption; however, there may be applications ahead of yours. We typically receive many applications for every dog we post. All adoption meetings are by appointment.

Our dog adoption fee is $450 for dogs aged seven months to seven years old, and $250 for dogs aged eight years and older. Every dog we place receives age-appropriate vaccines, is treated for worms, ticks, and fleas, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and spayed or neutered before adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash. Please fill out the adoption application if you would like to be considered for a dog in our care.

With few exceptions, dogs are happiest and well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families willing to commit to both.
