We present Winnie!! Mini Winnie is a 3 yr old female Bernadoodle. She weighs 66#s and has a moderately heavy, wavy non-shedding coat. Her coat type will require regular professional grooming. This is not a task most people can accomplish at home. She should be able to go 8(short) -10(medium) weeks between groomings. For a dog her size in our area that usually brings $85-$95 per visit. This is an expense most Doodle breeders don't warn you about! Please have your favorite groomer lined up and make sure you are aware of the cost of coat care with this breed.
Winnie is a outgoing, happy girl who has shown me some signs of abuse. She does cower with loud reprimands and seems a bit apprehensive of men. She gets very excited about children and I think she would do well with some kind, considerate, well supervised kids to play with. She gets along with most other dogs, but is an alpha female. She was surrendered to a shelter in UT for killing the neighbors chickens. So no to farm life! She hasn't tried to chase my cat, but I think she would if given the opportunity. She has a very loud bark (def Berner bark) and uses it frequently to make you aware of visitors, passerbys and deliveries. For this reason I don't think she'd do well in an close in, busy neighborhood. Better out of the city.
