This cute little nugget is Peanut, who is 6 years old and weighs 23 pounds. He’s a calm, medium-energy dog who is the perfect size to snuggle on your lap, which is one of his favorite things to do. When he’s not busy being a snuggle bug, Peanut enjoys snoozing in a comfy chair with his teddy bear or playing with the other dogs in his foster home. A home with a fenced-in yard and another dog to play with would be Peanut’s idea of heaven.
When it’s time to go for a walk, Peanut sits like a perfect gentleman as he waits to be leashed up. He appears to have been trained to walk very calmly to the right side of the person walking him, which makes walkies with Peanut a breeze! He is very sweet and outgoing, and he enjoys meeting new people. He gets along very well with the other dogs in his foster home, but we don’t know how he does with cats and children.
Peanut rides well in the car – he curls up in a dog bed in the back seat and goes to sleep. He’s crate trained and is almost housebroken with only the occasional accident. When his foster family goes out, he has the run of the house with the other dogs in the home. Peanut is known for finding things to chew on, so his new family will need to make sure he has appropriate items to satisfy his craving to chew.
If you’re looking for a sweet, friendly, affectionate addition to your family, Peanut just might be the perfect fit!
